Description

Project: projects.blender.org
Tracker: Bugs
Category: Interface
Status: New

When browsing the Blender bug trackers with Internet Explorer 9 Beta, the comments are shifted off to one side. See attached screenshot.

I don't know if this is a bug in the tracker's code, or IE9. If the latter, it could be reported at http://connect.microsoft.com/ie/

Is the same with official release

This has been open for over a month now, could we get a comment from whomever's writing the bug tracker code? Is there any estimate on when this will be fixed, or even any exploration of whether the issue is in the site code or IE itself?

I don't have IE9 so I can't verify nor fix. If someone can look into the CSS and see if a local fix can be found, that'd be great.

This is actually a duplicate of [#23577]

I think that the problem is about the "Document Mode":
"This behavior matches that of Internet Explorer when rendering a document with no doctype or a Quirks doctype. It's similar to the behavior of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and the Quirks mode behavior of Internet Explorer 6, and the same as the Quirks mode of Internet Explorer 7."

I don't know exactly what I have wrote :) but if I change Document mode from "No standard" to "Internet Explorer 8 Standards" or "Internet Explorer 9 Standards" I can see the page correctly.

maybe here the solution: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699338(v=VS.85).aspx

When I load a page from the tracker the Document mode of the browser is "No Standard". If I force to "IE9 Mode" I can see correctly the page.

So you must add <!DOCTYPE html> ?
