  1. There are no example files (.blend file) to reproduce this issue.
  2. I don't really understand what you try to say, is there an error message during export, is the exported file wrong..?

Trying explain that i mean: I have blender file with mesh avatar and try make eyelases for it.
I create model of eyelash and added some shape keys (blink_both and blink_right ) and some vertex group for it ( named same ). After that i export this model to collada (.dae). And then i try upload it to opensim, eyelash not work right (not blinking). I import to blender this is file (collada) and was see that vertex group blink_both and blink_right is not. Shape keys is, but vertex group for it is't. Are this is error of export?

Second Life and Open SIM do not support the import of Shape Keys. Regarding the missing vertex groups i will take a look. maybe there is an issue when shape keys and vertex groups are exported with same name...

Gaiaclary, you are don't right about support shape keys in secondlife and opensim. Core of both this is 3D world support shape keys. By the instrumentality of shape keys made many shapes of standart avatars in this worlds. And as i think - correction this error of export will enabled used shape keys in your own avatars and clothes.

And as i think same name of vertex groups and shape keys used in this 3d worlds core for used shape keys for animation (as facial animation and so on) and changed shape of avatars.

Hi, as far as i know shape keys are not supported for Collada import(!) to Second Life (admitedly i am not sure if this is true for OpenSim as well). Maybe i have misunderstood your issue, but this topic (support of shape keys for Custom charcters) has been discussed countless times with Linden Lab during development of custom character support. And later it has been wanted another countless times from users.

However Linden Lab always refused to support shape keys for custom characters. The only area where shape keys are used is the Default Avatar (where this feature is named 'morph shapes').

If this is wrong or has changed recently, then can you please give me a link where i can read in which way the import of shape keys is supported ? Indeed it would be awesome to see Shape keys being supported. But i have never seen it.

Hi Gaiaclary.
You may see that shape keys is supported for collada export - import in my files (see link above). All shape keys right exported. But not right exported vertex groups for it. But about Linden Lab, i think if correct this error in blender export (right export vertex group for shape key too) - this is may give possibility of used standart shape keys in your objects too. And yes i mean "morph shapes".

And sorry , my english not so good :( for right explain that i think. But error in Blender export to collada is. And i show it in my files.

Ok, maybe i was told wrong. Actually i never tried it. Never mind. I will check if exporting of shape keys and vertex groups with identical names works as intended.

We are sorry, but we currently have no maintainer for Collada area, and there is no point in keeping opened reports that no one will tackle any time soon.

We only intend to maintain basic support for SecondLife export, but it is very unlikely to get any more real work done here (even the OpenCollada library we use in Blender is a rather… quite project since some time now).
