Hot Z, Blender crashes.
PieMenu off Z is OK.

Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps
Hit Z after splashscreen goes.

Can you explain in more detail what*Hot Z* and *PieMenu off Z* mean?

I opened your file and pressed Z and nothing crashed.

Try run blender with factory settings.

This tracker is for bugs in Blender or its core ("Official") addons… PieMenu is not even distributed with Blender currently!
