Short description of error
In some viewport shade modes, objects emitted from the particle system are displayed at the wrong location.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Open the attached project. You see a group instance in the middle (showing a ring of 10 spheres).
- Rotate the viewport and nothing special happens.
- Switch viewport shade mode from "solid" to "material".
- Rotate the viewport again. Problem: The group instance is jumping to a different location. This should not happen.
Note #1: The group instance contains one mesh object using the particle system emitting the 10 spheres. The group is at the center of a different scene. Please use Ctrl+Left resp. Ctrl+Right to switch between scenes. Otherwise, the problem was not reproducable in an even simpler example.
Note #2: Rendering works correctly, and after rendering, viewport display is back to normal, too.
