Description

OS: window 8.1
Video : HD8670 D

Blender Version 2525fc9 RC2

i have already set auto perspective mode in user preference and save these as default
and if i open 2.7 and do a file it seems to work fine

but if i open and old file made with 2.9 it does not seems to work properly
when i go into edit mode then back into object mode it goes from ortho to perspective mode !

i cannot upload sample file !
but any old 2.69 seems to have this bug on my OS

how do you drag and drop a file here ?
is it from explorer on win to this window ?

I redid some tests

and found that if I change the auto perspective and save start up with Ctrl-u
it is refusing to save it

so when I re open 2.7 auto perspective is always activated !

I can’t reproduce any of the reported issues here… Pleas upload a file that fails in 2.70 (yes, drag&drop works)…

sorry still have to learn how to drag and drop files here!

in any case this is dong this with all 2.69 files

I tried to change the auto perspective and save it with Ctrl-U then close
and re open and when I try to open 2.69 files it is still in auto perspective mode

this is the only SVN doing this

I will try to install 2.7 today and see if it does the same thing

just installed 2.7 on my PC
this is blender org official version

and it is doing the same thing

I cannot change the Var auto perspective

each time I open up a 2.69 file auto perspective is always on
I tried to change it then save it with Ctrl-u
the next time I re open a 2.69 file auto perspective is always set

each time I do a rotate in viewport it goes into perspective mode!

let me know what else I can try to correct that ?

I just got the latest buildbot version aee3018

it is basically having the same problem now!

if I open 2.7 and works as 2.7
I can see that the auto perspective is set
but it does not work it is like it is not being applied
and works normally !
I can rotate in viewport and it stays in ortho mode

if I open a 2.69 file then auto perspective is set and as soon as I rotate in viewport it goes into perspective mode !

just saw something else here

if I open 2.69 file
as soon as I rotate it goes into perspective mode
if I manually reset auto perspective and save file under 2.7

then when I re open the same file
it works normally even if auto perspective is set
I can rotate and it does not go into perspective mode !
