Is this a blender problem or an OBS problem?

I'm able to confirm the bug (if I understand it correctly), which is:

If you open Blender, run the game engine, then use OBS to preview or capture the recording, it will be of the BGE (correct). When you close the BGE and then exit Blender, Blender will crash on exit (incorrect).

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with an AMD Radeon HD 7700 graphics card. My Blender version is a Buildbot version from 5/4/2014 (May 4th).

Being that this is a crash on exit, it's not very critical since recording video should be unaffected, and Blender's quitting anyway, so it's not like your data should be lost. I'm not sure if it's a OBS issue or a Blender issue (i.e. OBS might be doing something to make Blender crash, or maybe Blender isn't handling something correctly). If I had to guess, it might be something to do with OBS, since Blender's normal otherwise; even Window capture works fine. Just Game capture makes Blender crash, so I'm not certain where the issue lies exactly.

I'm changing this to low priority as it probably won't get fixed anytime soon. It might be better to submit a bug to OBS. If they determine that a certain Blender/BGE feature/OpenGL call is causing problems, then maybe we can look at it. Until then, I'll just assume it's an OBS problem.

This task is being closed because the BGE has been removed in Blender 2.8.
