Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Hi there!
I opened Blender for the first time! Whoo!
But when I move the cube, it gets chaotic. Video here:

I'm controlling an iMac via screenshare with a MacBook Air. Basically, the MacBook Air serves only as the iMac's keyboard and trackpad. I do this for ergonomic reasons (I prefer having my keyboard at a downward slant, which, with my current desk/tech/wheelchair setup, is only achievable this way).

I tried changing the trackpad speed. The glitch still happens just as chaotically.

When I use a Magic Mouse, the movement is fine.

Hey @Aubrie (aubrie),
unfortunately, Blender has some issues with macbook trackpads (see e.g T39094, T39709), but afaik you can workaround this by disabling "Continuous Grab" (User Preferences->Input).
Issue is, we currently don't have someone with the hardware+knowledge to fix this or better said, to implement it correctly.

Thanks for the report, but closing this as todo for now.
