Windows 8.1 64 bit Nvidia

Blender Version
2.77

**completely freezes when fbx is imported. Tested on the fbx of just 500 kb size.*

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

I tried it, and it froze for about 5 seconds, then it unfroze, but I dont see any mesh that was imported.
What is supposed to be inside the file?

Sorry got little late to reply !

The file is looking like this actually. It is a simple workshop floor layout.

However couple of my own trials with fbx 2012 & 2013, both got instantly opened. It means it failed with the version 2013 or 2014.

I am attaching both 2012 & 2013 version of same data file.

Note - objects or model away from center is not problem, its like that. Pl. ignore :))

That FBX file (org one) is FBX2016, we do not support it at all currently (we cannot even parse it at binary level it seems, AD cannot even keep compatibility on that level, which is… desesperating). Should work with FBX2014 though.

Anyway, thanks for the report, but not a bug (besides FBX itself being a giant juicy bug :( ).
