Linux Mint 17.2 32bit; Cinnamon 2.6.13; Kernel 3.16.0-38-generic; i5 integrated graphic processor

Blender Version
Broken: 2.77a 32bit
Worked: 2.76 32bit

Short description of error
Blender crashes with a segfault when clicking the rmb anywhere in the 3dview in the object mode.
Tail output of gdb:
