Short description of error
The alpha section in the header section of the node editor theme settings has no effect. Other color setting such as value work, but alpha has no effect.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
This problem is apparent when opening up a fresh blender scene with no saving, so including a blend file is unnecesary.
- Open blender 2.80 beta
- Open shader editor window
- Open preferences
- Go to theme panel of preferences
- Go to node editor section of theme panel
- Click color bar of "header" under theme space settings section
- Move alpha slider
Also, this issue of sliders having no effect is present in other settings in the theme settings, for example the outline width slider under the 3D view also has no effect.
