Short description of error
When doing first measurement, mouse pointer is different than in next measurements. If putting measurements fast, sometimes it switches to a crosshair on white background (which is correct only when hovering on a measurement line).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Select Measure in Object mode and draw a line (default arrow) - incorrect.
  2. Draw another line (4 arrows) - correct.
  3. Switch to Edit mode and do a Measure (crosshair) - incorrect.
  4. Draw another line (4 arrows) - correct.
  5. Draw lines rapidly and move up (crosshair on a white bckgr) - incorrect.

I can sort of confirm, but not sure this is a bug.

  • All objectmode tools seems to have the default arrow as default (but change it as soon as you start dragging), not sure why gizmo_ruler_cursor_get only kicks in after the first line.
  • All editmode tools seems to have the crosshair as default (but change it as soon as you start dragging), not sure why gizmo_ruler_cursor_get only kicks in after the first line.
  • cant get the "crosshair on white bg" issue to happen here.

Will confirm for now and pass on to @Campbell Barton (campbellbarton)...
