Is there any good reason for this behavior, @Clément Foucault (fclem)? (except performance maybe?)

I use move brush for tweaking my retopologed model and proper view of topology is necessery for control quality of model. But triangulate mode destroy this work

Even if it does increase performance, there should be an option to turn it off and go for the less performant quad display because this makes the sculpt tools a pain to use on low poly models, which I think is common enough use case, and it is a use case where performance is not that big a concern.

Hi there Devs!!

First of all thank you so much for making Blender awesome everyday :)

Secondly I was about to report this and then I found it here so I'm having the same issue, it would be helpful to have an option to show quads in Sculpt Mode because in my case I used to use sculpt mode for tweaking topology and to adjust volumes, specially after the retopology process and is easier to do this process in Sculpt Mode rather in Edit mode because you can take advantage of some brushes like grab, inflate, smooth and so on for adding volume and refining geometry :)

Hopefully you can bring us a way to solve this issue
