Description

Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: Intel I think

Version: 2.79b

When I try to export an OBJ into blender, the little part that shows what the file name turns red, and when I hover over it, it says "Overwrite existing." And when I try to export the file, nothing happens. In return unable to do anything but quit.

Steps: 1. Get a file and try to export it 2. When you select your file, the little bar at the top turns red, and when you try to click the "Export OBJ" (or anything else I just use OBJ) You get sent back to the editing screen where you render an image and all that with no model.

When I try to export an OBJ into blender,

Are you exporting data OUT of blender or importing data INTO blender? I cannot tell from your description.
Both OBJ export and import seem to work in 2.79 with Linux.

It does seem like you might be confusing the terms import and export though, where you probably want to use Import instead.
