Description

i7 8700K, 32GB ddr4 blah
Blender version 2.8 daily 26.01.2019 25772c9e1d2d

I have been trialing the use of my project created in 2.79b to 2.8
Im liking eevee.. and wanted to just use the new blender for a while

the project has two cloth objects, one import fine, the other not. the bad one appears the cloth is meter away from where it should be
I try rebaking and crash every time
I try removing cloth and creating new cloth object and still causes crash,
I get it's beta.. just want to alert to the fact opening project from 2.79b results in cloth issues

I would be very happy to provide a project file for diagnosis.. just let me know and I can send.
I'd prefer to keep the project from public so if there is a private way I'd prefer

Many thanks for all the hard work dev putting into 2.8

I found the problem. it was a conflict of Flipfluids and Cloth

deleting domain fluid box cloth works... :)

Can you reproduce this problem without the flipfluid? Or is this strictly related to that addon?

Hi Seb.

FlipFluids domain deleted problem goes away..

I spoke to the Flip FLuids guys and they gave this answer,
This is most likely related to this bug in Blender: https://github.com/rlguy/Blender-FLIP-Fluids/issues/409

This has been reported to the Blender developers and we recently were notified that that bug has been confirmed and assigned, so perhaps this will be fixed soon!

Ok, I'll merge this one in then.
