  1. Dependency not updating reliably with driver affecting Renderability, and Renders not always honouring current state of Renderability under driver affect.
  1. Also viewport visibility no longer able to add driver to control at all. I have been doing both of these in 2.79 and before quite regularly

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Attached simple .blend. Small block z location drives Renderability with z=0 -> renderable, z=1 restricted. Notice lack of reliable correlation. Works if you hit update dependencies in driver editor after each move, but even then actual renders don't always honour current Renderability state.

And yes I have a regular use-case for driving viewport visibility alongside renderability, to control 'parts replacement' style rigs. I hope this feature can be fixed/reinstated soon. Thanks!
