Graphics card: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80 beta, 519982fd3ea0 (example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, master, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: all previous blender versions

Short description of error

the viewports run slow, already in the default cube startingpoint. seems to be 12 fps around consistently
macbook 2015 15 inch 2.2 ghz corei7 16 gb

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

"Seems to be"? What fps do you get if you start playback on the default cube scene? There is a fps counter is the viewport that should be visible during playback. Note that the fps is locked to the target render fps though.

Hi there, sorry for my vagueness.

I am relatively new to blender.

it says 24 fps… it doesn’t go higher if I change the fps… (just gets red)

the issue I mean is just the movement IN the viewport (shift-` for example)..

that is not fluent… it feels draggy… blender 2.79b is buttery smooth.

Are you running in fullscreen or on multiple monitors etc?
