Short description of error
Linked curves (CTRL+D) with curve modifiers are not deformed correctly with this button enabled

. Ctrl+A again doesn’t work properly (like you didnt have a modifier for the curve in the first place). If you make single user the "linked curve" it starts to deform correctly, if it stays linked it's broken.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

I thought it would be easier to show all of it in 1 file because it all seems related. So there's a problem with CTRL+A, curves with modifiers on them, and linked curves with modifiers on them. Do you think this covers it all or should i create another bug report?
