work fine on 2.8 beta 7ad21c3876c2

Hey just wanted to confirm. Same problem here.

• No tools menu.
• Splash screen is broken. No recent files etc. Just the image.
• Keymap page is not showing up
• Addon page is not shwing up
• Some dropdown are broken. ( Help dropdown, blender logo dropdown,
• Getting error while deleting objects in 3d view.
  

Tested on MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) Mac Os Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132)

I have the same issue - and also if I try to export the default cube scene - FBX, Collada, Wavefront(OBJ), X3D all crash.

Same problem here. No splash screen, no toolbar.

Having the same issues as OP.

macOS Mojave, 10.14.5
iMac (27-inch, late 2013)
Processor 3.5 Ghz Intel Core i&
Memory: 32 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDA GeForceGTX 780M 4GB

Attached is the txt file made with the output from the terminal after the command
/Applications/Blender.app/Contents/MacOS/Blender
was ran.

Like with the most other posters 2.80 beta from last night, blender-2.80-7ad21c3876c2-OSX-10.9-x86_64.zip, operates well with none of the issues of the RC1.

Build you just linked to fixes the issues I was seeing!!!

The problems seem to be fixed in the new download link.

I'm still unable to select the DOF using "DOF Distance (Pick)" on the right click menu, even with the new download link you provided.

I can also confirm it fixed my issue as well.

new blender 2.8 blender-2.80rc1-macOS fixed the missing Toolbar And cycle.

but some addon like machin3tool / fluid / etc. addon , got issue when active in preference.

delete >>> application support /blender/ blender 2.80 folder
re download the 2.8 RC1 again ,
preference active got issue

@ken wong (ken) addons with issue are officially distribuited with Blender or they are 3th part addons?

message from machintool : It’s clear the RC on MacOS seems to have numpy issues. This is not related to MACHIN3tools, other than MACHIn3tools using numpy, which is a module, Blender’s python supplies by default.

Please try entering import numpy into the python console. And see what happens.

Also try on the latest experimental build, released AFTER the RC.

IMHO if Cycles works , python-mumpy work. if i am not in wrong
as declarated from Blender developers; macOS python issue had been corrected yesterday 12 jul at 18pm UTC time
if you have issue with python-numpy this is wrong bug report (macOS missing shortcuts and menu entries with 2.80 RC1)
you must open new bug report or search if anyone has already open it

Addons import/export OK after "Load Factory Settings" which is like a reset system!!!

I am also getting this issue when attempting to use any addon that requires ctypes. I am getting a MemoryError see this thread on devtalk for more info. Also I confirm that build 06312c6d2db8 (downloaded on the 13th of July) has this problem.
