Description

System Information
Operating system: MacOs Mojave 10.14.5

Blender Version
Broken: 2.79, build 2019-06-27 10:41

I was experimenting with driver that return current frame number into input value of node... and managed to save blend file, that can not be opened anymore - now Blender crashes right after this blend file is loaded. See attachment

No crash opening that file in 2.8 here.
Get a crash in 2.79 though... need a Debug build to check further... I guess that has low priority though (since we are not really chasing 2.79 only bugs anymore -- at least with lower priority...)

note1: file is saved in local view [not that this should cause a problem, just saying because nothing visible when opening that file...]
note 2: 2.8 also complains about the driver expression

Error in Driver: The following Python expression failed:
	'#frame'

note 3: There is a missing linked library, please also upload that file here...

I see, understand regarding now priority, etc. Great that 2.8 handles this well :)

Linked libraries are not related to crash (they are plain material holders), problem arised directly after this exact driver was added for testing purposes

Actually it appears to open fine in 2.79a, it's just 2.79 experimental that has an issue.
