Short description of error
For Text Object -> Many Short-cuts are showing in e.g. menus but not working. e.g. T (Tool Shelf), N (Numeric Pane) e.t.c

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

These are the short-cuts, either not working or behaving wrong behavior. e.g. Home key is used to put-caret at last of text rather then Frame All

how to edit text with key if they are used for shortcut?

[EDIT ] Blender 2.80 RC2 work same as 2.79B, IMO this is not a regression, may be bad UI design to expose shortcut on Text edit mode

Text Edit needed more love from many year but IMO this is not a bug

I think, For Text Object whole new editor should be made, or some thing like this...

Many Options are extra, like 3d cursor, transform orientation, snapping, e.t.c.

however if you want i will mention all the short-cuts, I will do that. thanks.

Just be clear, any minor prob, can down the popularity in the industry standards...

Or use just text-editor for that, as for Text Object Nothing Special like of other 3d objects, As I know. In Edit Mode we can only edit the text nothing more. @dark999 (dark999) What you think about?

I am not suggesting, add some pop-up panel, but maybe something like this will works better.

I know, about that...

But In Edit mode showing short-cuts here & there which are not working in That's mode is like a logical bugs. Or at least for newbies are a pains (why they don't works....) e.g. Home Key is used for Set caret to the begging of cursor and the text under menu say Frame All Is it not a bug???
