Blender crash after texture baking with Cycles and trying to save to disk *
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Create a UV spere
- add a Multiresolution modifier to it
- Subdivide 3-4 times
- Go to Sculpt mode and sculpt some strokes on the subdivided sphere.
- Return to Object mode and add Material to the sphere
- Go to Texture context on the Properties tab and add new texture 1024x1024 defaults is fine
- Go to Shader editor and add new Image texture choosing the Untitled - previously created in step 6 texture.
- Switch to Cycles renderer, go to Bake tab and for type specify Normal and bake (defaults tangents etc.)
- Switch back to Texture context on the Properties tab and click Save - to save the baked texture.
- After specifying where to save the texture in my case d:\Untitled.png click "Save as Image" => Blender crashes
I tried this on 3 machines with rc2 and rc1.
Thanks,
