Short description of error
In grid fill option, the span value cannot be controlled individually.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
open a new blend file.
delete the default cube and add in a cylinder.
in edit mode delete its top face.
select that edge loop.
go to face> grid fill
now try changing the span value independently. It can only be controlled via offset value. It worked separately in version 2.79 but now its not working.
