Can you guys try the current nightly build from https://builder.blender.org/download/ or RC3 when it's available?

I've been using the current nightly build that you said (July 24, 20:54:26 - bfe580642f46) for 15 minutes and got 0 crashes!
If it crashes again I will comment here.
Thanks for the fast fix!

Thanks! That was likely the major bug that required the creation of RC3. Any more testing you can do to verify that RC3 (which you can get the official version of right now at https://mirror.clarkson.edu/blender/release/Blender2.80/ ) would be greatly appreciated to make sure that the official 2.80 will not have this issue would be appreciated! Happy Blending.
