Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows 7 pro 64 bit SP1
Graphics card: ATI/AMD Radeon HD 4800 Series -- latest driver from ATI/AMD:

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80 (Latest release from your home page as of 2019-07-30 2224 EST -- can't see splash screen so that's all I know)

Short description of error
On startup, Blender DOS command line window appears, then main window (workspace?) appears, but black, with a title bar. Cursor freezes. After a minute or two, it flashes white, then video driver reports that it crashed and then recovered (didn't actually -- second monitor no longer displays).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Attempt to start Blender from Windows start menu.

Thanks for your attention!

You can check for youself [[ https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/ | here ]] if your hardware and software meet minimum Blender requirement

IMO your GPU not meet minimum Blender requirement, your PC have a Terascale 1st gen Gpu family, minumum is GCN 1st gen an newer Gpu family.

Before you made a new bug report you must use Search box (upper right on Bug Report page) to check if bug/problem is already reported from others users. Duplicating bugreport is a waste of time and resources for developers
