Broken: (example: 2.81, 066a7173c068, alpha, 2019-08-02, as found on the splash screen)

Short description of error
ive saved the cube in edit mode .... any click and blender crashes on my system
i tried reinstall graphic drivers but hasnt solved this problem
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
