Blender Version
Broken: tested in 2.80 stable and 2.81-dcad1eb03ccc

Short description of error

In Edit Mode Select -> Select all by Trait -> Interior Faces does not select all expected Faces.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

In the attached blend file try to select the interior faces by trait and nothing happens. The object was created by moving a default cyclinder and UV sphere into each other and merging the vertices at the spheres equator by distance. After the merge the top face of the cylinder is selected by trait as expected while the lower faces of the sphere are not.

Can confirm, doesn't even work with a cube within a cube.

This seems to be working as it is described in the tooltip.

Select faces where all edges have more than 2 face users.

I have attached a simple blend file with a cube inside a cube. I then created edges from the interior cube's to the exterior cube's vertices, but only filled in the faces on one side to make it easier to differentiate. Using Select All by Trait > Interior Faces results in the selection pictured above. I am posting the file here in case anyone would want to use it.

Having not used this feature before, the name "interior faces" made me first think that it would select the "faces that are enclosed within/inside of a fully enclosed/water tight mesh." I apologize as I am not sure of the proper term/terms for describing this geometry.

This seems like a case of unfortunate naming for this function. However, I do not have an alternative name to suggest.
