Blender Version
Broken: 2.81, b043bef000e9
Worked: v2.80

eevee is using wrong materials on objects, these materials are in the Materials-stack but are assigned wrong.. cycles works fine - sometimes moving a object restores the "original" material

left - materials are shown wrong after opening the scene
right - materials are shown all right

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
get an old textured blendfile - open it in 2.81

It's the same issue as described here: T68826 Try changing your viewport shading color to "material". Save and reopen.
