Short description of error
No hotkey to set start and end frames in the timeline

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open blender 2.79
  2. set the current frame to 10
  3. hover mouse over timeline
  4. press s
  5. set current frame to 20
  6. press e
  7. notice how it works
  8. open blender 2.82
  9. try steps 2-6 with blender 2.7x keymap
  10. notice how it doesnt work
  11. change it to the standard blender keymap
  12. try steps 2-6 again
  13. still doesnt work.

Does it help for now, if you use ctrl + home for start frame and crtl + end for end frame? :)

Like @ronsn said, we have ctrl + home and crtl + end now (standard keymap, times are a changing...)

However, not having legacy entries for the 2.79 keymap sounds weird...
(@Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) , @William Reynish (billreynish) : not sure about the current support status of the 2.79 keymap, but shouldnt there be legacy entries in km_animation?)

Had to revert this (caused T71483), so we probably have to live with ctrl + home and crtl + end for blender 2.7x keymap as well...
