Short description of error
Changing the resolution on the point density node crashes Blender
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Add a vertex group to the default cube and add some weights.
Add the point density node and set it to Object Vertices, World Space, Vertex Weights and add the Vertex Group.
Connect the density output to your material output or make sure that you can see it.
Make sure, you're in Cycles.
Now reduce the resolution on the slider and Blender will crash
I know that this is just a bug tracker, but a fix for my use case would be to add a vertex weights node similar to the vertex colors node.
Thank you for your time!
