I couldn't reproduce the problem (although rendering required a lot from my GPU).
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18941 64 Bits
Graphics card: Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.13559 Core Profile Context 26.20.12028.2

Have you tried upgrading GPU drivers? See https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/gpu/index.html

Normal version. make resolution bigger

I cannot reproduce the crash. Is it still an issue?

Since last asking for information it has been 7 or more days, due to the policy of our bug tracker we will have to close the report.

I wrote about the problem back in November! Now I'm testing 2.82, while there were no crashes.
The problem was in the modifiers, the value was set to render more than the viewport, and the blender did not highlight the problem, it just crashed

Sorry about that, number of reports got out of our hands, so we are trying to deal with that now.
