Broken: (example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, master, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)

Short description of erroraudio does not play in the video editorand also sometimes when blender 2.81 is on, playback in youtube videos stops

Exact steps for others to reproduce the erroropen video editor add sound of your choice hit play,no sound
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

it is crucial for us to be able to reproduce the error. Please follow bug report guidelines and provide all requested information. Using Help -> Report Bug menu will prerefill prefill a lot of fields.

  • Are you using Blender downloaded from blender.org or from repository?
  • Is it a regression since 2.80 or any older versions?
  • Does this happen with any audio file?
  • Does it happen with any audio backend (User Preferences -> System -> Sound Audio Device)?

sometimes when blender 2.81 is on, playback in youtube videos stops

This sounds like an issue in the linux audio subsystem.

i am on 18.04 LTS and have zero problem likes this. 2.81 official

Am.. i know that bug is not about displaying stuff.. however... your GPU is not supported by 2.81... however bug is about audio...

thank you what is your suggestion should I change it..but meanwhile I will continue using 2.8
