Short description of error
When mirroring curves, tilt values are not mirrored.

In edit mode, MIRROR(or SCALE -1) dose not change tilt values.
So I can not get mirrored result (bebel geometry).

(In object mode, I can get mirrored 2 curves by MIRROR(or SCALE -1),
But JOIN the two curves results not mirrored tilt effect.)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open:

mirrored_curve.blend1 MBDownload

  • The file contains 2 splines. One is a scaled duplicate of the other.
  • Note that the tilt of the corresponding point remains the same on both splines.

Unsure if I understand correctly:

  • is this about the mirrir modifier?
  • is this about mirroring in objectmode?
  • is this about mirroring in editmode?

Above file has a path mirrored in objectmode and negated tilt (by hand). Dont think this would be expected default behavior?
Possibly I am misunderstanding, but in order to proceed here, we would need an example .blend file with exact steps to reproduce (and an explanation of what the expected [vs. the actual] behavior would be...)

Although it would be interesting to support, this is not a bug.
But I'll put it as To Do to be revisited another day.
