Can confirm, nvidia card aswell, when i use al left click in weight paint mode i crash half of the time. (on different projects).

Can't redo this issue on 2.81 release or a daily build.

  • If this can't be reproduced with the default startup, include a blend file.
  • Did this work in previous releases? (2.80, 2.79)

Could be related/duplicate: T68024: Crash using Weight Paint Gradient on mesh with specific modifiers (2 mods depending on normals + generative mod) - missing CD_ORIGINDEX layer then, but we'd need the .blend file to reproduce...
