Short description of error
NDOF input behavior changed from 2.81a

As you can see in the first half of the video in 2.81a the NDOF settings are working normally as expected but in 2.83 the NDOF settings are exactly the same but it behaves very differently. is this new behavior intended?

it's very important for me to have the same NDOF behavior as in 2.81a because i have a disability and NDOF controls are very critical for my work, i can't work at all with this new behavior unfortunately

Stuff i tried

  1. Reverting to factory settings and redoing the settings
  1. Changing the settings in the NDOF own mouse software although it seems like blender doesn't acknowledge it so it's irrelevant

I noticed this too. I had to configure my SpaceNavigator device with Blender using the 3DConnexion software.
