Description

System Information
Operating system:Windows 10
Graphics card:

Blender Version
Broken:Blender 2.82

Error occurs when extruding a mesh plane from an imported image texture and the faces seem to clip themselves in material preview and rendered view in both Eevee and Cycles, even if face normals are correct. With correct normal direction, the texture view of the Solid shading view will appear correctly.

That's the reason we have a Flip Normals option on the redo panel.
But the redo is broken for this operation, so this workaround doesn't work.
The face does not have its normal flipped (the face in question is the one being moved and not the one apparently staying in place).
The Redo problem is being addressed in T60069
