Description

System Information
Operating system: Mojave 10.14.6
Graphics card: AMD FirePro D500 3 GB

Blender Version
Broken: (example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, master, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen) 2.76, 2.81, 2.82a still not working
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When hitting shift+ MMB to pan it's no longer possible to release. It stay in pan view as if shift was permanently pressed.
In the same "pan view" state it goes when "alt" is pressed.
(Like if I select all with A then I try unselect with Alt+A for instance. It doesnt select and goes in frozen pan view mode)

It seems some inconsistencies with Mac keyboards.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Open file on Layout.
Press "shift"+ MMB to pan.
Try to exit pan view...

Hi, thanks for the report.

Does it happen all the time? If not it could be related to this report: T71635: Problems with Shift Key on Catalina after 4 or 5 hours of modelling.

Do you use the wacom tablet driver as mentioned in that report?

You can run blender from console with "--debug-events" and it should print out events. This may help you test the problem better. Someone will have to reproduce the problem to help fix the issue.

I do have a Wacom Cintiq Pro and a screen connected. Yes,

I will try to run with debug.

Actually Wacom had a new update which fixed the problem.

Thanks to point in that direction...
