Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Gigabyte)

Blender Version
Broken: 2.82a

Short description of error
Rendering a fire, explosion or glow gives a completely empty picture if you use a transparent background. I flipped through different file formats, such as PNG, Tiff, EXR, they all do not work. If you open the rendered file in a graphics editor, then there are RGB channels in it, and the alpha channel is completely empty.

I can reproduce issue in this file. But I can render flame on transparent background when using default scene and applying quick smoke+fire on cube.
I noticed high Z depth value, so I added plane mesh behind fire, and could render it without problem.

This very much looks like a duplicate of T68346, so I wil close this as such. if you look at T68346 are some workarounds, Not exactly sure how applicable to your use case.
