Short description of error
Frames are jumping around when using image sequence

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
just add an image sequence of some movement and see the result

Please add a simple blend file along with a sequence to redo the bug. even which workspace to use isn't clear here.

Ok I finally understood what is happening...
It's just when you add a Image Strip to video sequence editor, when you browse if you sort by "Modified Date" and add the Image Strip the result video is jittery

It is also seen in the orange strip which looks buggy.

It's not buggy, it just represents reality - some frames were skipped due to AV sync

Yes this will happen if you don't sort images by name. Technically this is a feature in case you have files generated chronologically, but with random names. I don't know if it was designed that way, but it is not bug.
