Short description of error
[Ctrl V object problem]

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[when I copy an object (Ctrl C) and paste it (Ctrl V) and no object is selected on the scene, some of the objects disappear. When at least one object is selected, everything is correct.]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Does this happen on default cube too ? If not please add a blend file with accompanying steps to redo the bug.

There was a bug T76155 but it needed an undo step in between. But there's no undo here & no other such bug has been reported, AFAIR.
