Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
If I strech area with modifiers wide, profile become stretched



I think this area it should streched with proportion lock until it will fill 90% of smaller visual size of user`s screen. For fine tuning.

You might think this is weird, but this is how it works in other 3d apps too.

Hi @Vyacheslav (hitrpr). While this isn't a bug, I agree that there's not much need to cap the height, so thanks for the feedback. Especially when the widget is in a subpanel after D7498, it can always be collapsed if it gets in the way of other things. I'll commit a change for this after the modifier layout update patch lands.

In the future please use other channels for feedback like this though, blender.chat and rightclickselect are better places for this.

This shouldn't be used as reasoning for anything. Let's talk about the why of things, not settle for the status quo.

Thanks for responce.
Should I use other channels, if it looks wrong, but I am not sure it`s a bug? I mean, it looks like a bug or somtehing broken, but I am not sure if it can be flaw in design.
