Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GT 730/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 442.50

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.90 (sub 0), branch: master, commit date: 2020-05-01 21:55, hash: rB83304e4c221b
Worked: not sure, but I think a 2.90 very recently did work fine

Short description of error
Status Bar in this above mentioned Blender 2.90 version does not show vertices count, or selected vertices count, etc of mesh in edit mode, just wanted to let you know...I think someone may be working on new features in the Status Bar?

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Latest Blender 2.90 (5-2-20) has this problem, even with load factory settings.

Bring cube into edit mode, select all vertices of the cube, check status bar...all I see is size and Blender version.
Thanks for any ideas.

Scene statistics moved from the status bar to an (optional) "Statistics" 3D viewport overlay.
