Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.83 (sub 17), branch: master, commit date: 2020-05-15 17:29, hash: rBe5ace51295b9
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Voxel proportion of domain depends on when i applied scale.
It leads me to problem: If I want to have proper cubic voxel, I need: assign domain, change resolution to lowest, scale, apply, change resolution back.



I can assume, that sometimes it is fun to have stretched voxels. But most time — it is not.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Make cube, assign domain, scale X 4
  2. Copy it, apply scale
  3. Make cube, scale X 4, apply scale, assign domain

Compare results.
