I can't cnver mesh from curve. Did everything as usual, but nothing worked. hotkeys do not work and through the menu I can not do

Cannot reproduce. The only Curve in your .blend is BezierCircle. It seems to convert to Mesh via Object menu or Right-click Menu just fine.

The highlighted object, Cylinder.002, is already a mesh.

Linux 2.90.0

So it does not work in the opposite direction. I can't make a mesh out of a curve. I reinstalled the program, installed version 2.82, the problem persists

I tried converting the curve to mesh on rB97c6c4e478830bd9a3 as well as rB0330d1af29c0. Both worked fine.

I can't make a mesh out of a curve.

How are you checking whether the final object is a mesh or a curve? Does the object icon in outliner remain the same as before or does it change to mesh ?

Or going to edit mode should reveal vertices, not handles

@Ankit Meel (ankitm) I suspect the conversion direction in the report might be flipped, because mesh to curve (Convert to Curve from Mesh in Blender) is indeed broken at the moment, see T80596.

I came to this task after you confirmed that one. But there's no mention of crash, and author has written thrice about the direction of conversion. So let's wait for a clarification.
