Island margin for Smart UV unwrap and pack islands gives different results for same island margin value
If this is not a bug then i would like to know the relation between the two values as im using them both in a script and would to get similar results in both cases


Smart UV unwrap with 0.02 margin


Pack islands with 0.02 margin

tried on 2.90

problem still exists

make sure to input the margin value manually
...the default values in both cases look similar

file just has few cubes

I can reproduce in 2.90 and 2.83.X, but this was "fixed" in 2.91 by rB850234c1b10a: UV: port smart project from Python to C

So please try a fresh 2.91 build from https://builder.blender.org/download/

Will close as resolved (but feel free to comment again if issues persist)
