Description

System Information
Operating system: MacOS 10.14.6
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9

Blender Version
Broken: Daily Build
Worked: Don't know

Setting the remesh resolution with Shift-R during sculpt when object is unproportional in size makes the grid fade (too quickly) and when zoomed in the numeric display of scale is upside down

Use default cube
In edit mode scale the object 10x in Z only
Enter Sculpt mode
zoom in
Shift-R
observe grid fading and display upside down..

Small video clip attached.. first part is correct behaviour.. second with disproportional object

There is a patch that fix the text flipping. The fading of the grid is by design as it takes into account the maximum number of lines necessary in any direction, even if they are not in view.

A similar bug in the modeling module (T80214) was classified as a know issue, so considering this also as such.
There is a patch that can fix this, but if a better solution is found, it should be possible to apply it for both reports.
