Description

System Information
Operating system: Darwin-18.7.0-x86_64-i386-64bit 64 Bits
Graphics card: AMD Radeon Pro Vega 64 OpenGL Engine ATI Technologies Inc. 4.1 ATI-2.11.22

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.90.0, branch: master, commit date: 2020-08-31 11:26, hash: rB0330d1af29c0

Short description of error
When working on two screens, one of them being HDPI, almost every click on screen 1 makes the preview render on screen 2 refresh.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open Blender on a Mac that has a HDPI (a.k.a. Retina) screen and a secondary non-HDPI display attached to it.
Switch to cycles render engine.
Window -> New Window
Drag the new Window to screen 2
On screen 2 enter preview mode
On screen 1 click on any button in the properties ->instantly the preview on screen 2 refreshes.

This does not happen if you open Blender in low resolution mode.

On screen 1 click on any button in the properties ->instantly the preview on screen 2 refreshes.

You need to be a little more specific as it is common for some buttons to require updating the viewport.

You need to be a little more specific as it is common for some buttons to require updating the viewport.

For example: If you switch to another tab in the property window, like from Object Properties to Modifier Properties. This usually does not refresh the viewport.

Can not reproduce on windows.
Is there previous Blender version that did not have this issue? Does this happen when you click on File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings?
