Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
I want to sculpting an object in texture color mode but when i enable texture color object color convert to gray.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

But yes, this is a known limitation atm, which has been reported before, see T63581: Textures not displayed in sculpt mode due to missing UVs (PBVH rendering, Multires), will merge these reports.
