The case is quite similar. But in mine even if I'm connected to external screen or not it lags in both. Found this problem happening after the latest windows update. I uninstalled the updates but still no luck.

I am not convinced though that 2 monitors is an issue there. So I will merge this still. If it turns out there are more issues we can reopen and tackle these differently.
