Blender Version

Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

I usually Extrude in Blender by pressing E and then button for their respective axis. For e.g if i want a face to extrude in y_axis , i simply press E and then y and it worked perfectly earlier. But this time the face is extruded in some other direction and i know i can use Other option to complete my project but this way is so simple and i used to it

  • - start blender latest version
    • go to edit mode
    • go into front view and select the face which is on y-axis
    • the Press E to extrude and Y to extrude in y axis
    • face will extrude in some other axis **

Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
