Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: GTX 1070

Blender Version
Broken: 2.83-2.92

Short description of error
When trying to reset a pop-over value using backspace, the values do not revert back to 0.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Using the modifier list addon: enable a mirror modifier with a gizmo. Then open the gizmo pop-over in which the gizmo location settings are located. Pressing backspace on either of the X/Y/Z fields, does not reset the value back to zero. See screencast:

Thanks for the report, but Modifier List Addon is not maintained by blender.
Could you show steps to reproduce the problem without having to install the addon?

(Due to the large flow of reports, when the scenario described is too time consuming for us to track down, we require the bug reporter to narrow down the problem.
Otherwise, it is not worth investigating the problem that is quite possible to be caused by an unofficial addon.
In these cases, the issue should to be reported to the original author instead).

@Germano Cavalcante (mano-wii)
Good call, I actually found a different occurence of the bug in the redo last panel.
When you backspace over scale or location data, these values do not reset, unlike the values in the sidebar.
This indicates that popover menus do not respond to backspace keypresses to reset their values.

Thanks for the info.
In this case, it's the same bug as described in T71472.
So i'll merge the reports.
